Get it "right" Jay Leno and Oprah - Oscars 2009

Today, while I was reading one of the many articles and coverage on AR Rahman ( India's first to win 2 Oscars - 2009 for Slumdog Millionaire, for music and song, I have been following ARR very closely since "Slumdog..' was nominated.), I came across ARR's "Jay Leno's Today" and "Oprah Winfrey" shows appearance. I noticed imperfections that I wanted to mention..my curious qa mind did not want to let this opportunity go..

I would like to congratulate AR Rahman (ARR) on his achievement, he deserves every bit of this and more. He has done tremendous service to the Indian music and movie industry. Most notable achievement in his career graph is his ability to bring talented unnoticed people to limelight.

Coming back to the essence of the subject; I watched ARR on Jay Leno and noticed Jay Leno mispronouncing AR Rahman's name not once but thrice, dude - don't you prepare?!
Video here..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g53JPt6wwB4

1) I was unable to locate the official version of this video in "Today's show" website..!!
2) Jay Leno refers to AR Rahman as AJ Raman (RAAH-man instead of RaH-MAAN) first apologizes, then goes AR R-aa-man.
3) He goes to congratulate ARR after the performance and calls his out as AR R-aa-man!!

Is it that hard to pronounce? Couldn't someone correct him? When he and other pronounce names like - Blagojevich (disgraced Illinois gov.), Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Prez, Iran) effortlessly? I wonder, mistakes do happen at all levels.

Oprah on the other hand..goes AR something...couldn't find the video now .. ;(

My observation list will go on....targetting people, process, technology and products...
